Toasted sandwiches perfect for breakfasts or lunches on the go.
Ingredients:
- salted butter
- two slices of bread
Fillings:
- ham and cheese
- bacon and cheese
- cheese and tomato
- chicken and mayo
- cheese, mushroom and zucchini
- cheese bacon and egg (breakfast toastie)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1 person per 2 slices of bread
Method:
- Spread about 1 tablespoon butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Put desired filling in the sandwich
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with 1 tablespoon butter. When butter is melted place the sandwich on the pan and cook until bread is crispy golden (if using cheese in filling make sure cheese is melted through out)
